The Bob Woodruff Foundation is committed to understanding the most urgent needs impacting the military/veteran community and sharing information about what we learn so our team, peers, and partners can be effective in our support.
In 2021, we funded research, we published research, and we refueled our data collection engine by distributing our second biannual Local Partner Self-Assessment Tool (LPSAT) – our   proprietary national survey that had a 91% response rate in 2021. Research findings will be published in 2022.
Stand SMART for Heroes
The Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) is proud to partner with best-in-class scientific organizations to provide important research findings to the community of organizations that represent and serve post-9/11 veterans, service members, families, and caregivers. In 2021, we published two Stand SMARTs – “Tackling the Terms: Baseline Definitions for Equine-Assisted Services,” and “Emergency Financial Assistance: Best Practices.”
